Like any great event preparation is the key. Your roof will be carefully cleaned to remove all the moss, lichen and dirt build up from over the years. This will be safely achieved using pressure washing techniques that will leave your roof bone clean and sterile ready for the coating process. At this stage your guttering will be cleaned with paths, driveways and decks washed of all roof debri. Once pressure cleaned, the next stage of preparation is to replace loose nailing, seal flashings and treat or replace corroded roofing. Once the repairs have been completed the roof is ready for coatings
MASKINGIron Roof Masking.
Areas that will remain unpainted will be masked before the coatings process to ensure an excellent clean finish.
COATINGS STAGE 1: GALVANISED IRON PRIMER (OPTIONAL)Iron Roof Painting Primer.
As detailed in the quotation your roof will receive a coat of galvanised iron primer as necessary. This may be the entire roof or just patch priming.
COATINGS STAGE 2 : TOPCOATIron Roof Painting Completed.
The final stage of resurfacing is the application of the Top Coat in the colour of your choice. This coating is applied in 2 coats to provide exceptional protection and longevity to the resurfacing process.
